Website Design, Wordpress Development, Design System Creation and Implementation
The Challenge
Consolidated Credit, a prominent provider of counseling services and financial education, embarked on a journey to enhance its online presence.
Although the primary purpose of the website was to build trust, the design was disproportionately focused on a large lead generation form rather than on of Consolidated Credit's products and services.
The Objective
The redesign initiative encompassed website design, reusable page layout templates, a components and blocks design system, and the creation of a comprehensive style guide. This approach aimed to establish a scalable foundation for the future growth of the Consolidated Credit website.
Key priorities of the redesign included:
- An updated and modern UI
- Highlighting expertise and knowledge through debt education resources
- Building brand awareness
- Establishing clear calls to action
- Increasing user conversions through improved usability
- Implementing a scalable design system to be continually maintained by the Consolidated Credit team
The Solution
Build Trust
The redesigned home page highlighted Consolidated Credit's experience and success through prioritized content and social proof. The primary call-to-action remained prominently visible, and the interface was modernized through updated typography, layout, and color schemes.
Improve Interactive Resources
Usability of online tools was improved through a distinct content hierarchy, clear calls to action, and a concise presentation of data for easier comprehension at a glance.
Design For Scale
A scalable system was implemented, providing the Consolidated Credit team with the tools to maintain consistency as the website grows. The design system included a library of reusable blocks and components, with outlined usage of typography and color.
Mobile Ready and Accessible
The design was optimized for a seamless experience on any screen size. Moreover, the website adhered to ADA compliance standards, with readable font sizes, appropriate letter spacing, sufficient contrast in text and graphics, and consistent hierarchy in titles with appropriate tags.
